A guided online group experience designed to support and nurture your nervous system

Live Online 8-week Small group program with Annie Bloom, PhD, SEP

In this group, we will foster a non-judgmental and nurturing space where we can share our vulnerabilities and meet them with compassion and understanding.

During the Somatic Support Sessions, we’ll work with specific areas of the body involved in the nervous system’s stress response, such as the adrenal glands and brainstem. By bringing  intention to these areas of the body, the nervous system is able to gradually soften, allowing both body and mind to experience a more restful and regulated state.

Over time, our systems can begin to re-organize and re-pattern the early experiences that affected our physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Our bodies and nervous systems heal when we spend more time in safety and less time in survival mode. Our bodies already know how to heal.

We are wired for connection. We heal in community.

How the Somatic Circle works

As a small group, we’ll gather on Zoom once a week for 8 weeks.

Before we begin

I’ll meet with you individually for Intention Setting. Then we’ll come together as a group for introductions and preparation for our Somatic Support Sessions.

During our sessions

You’ll be guided through 45 minutes of using our intention to support specific areas of the body involved in the nervous system’s stress response, such as the adrenal glands and brain stem. By bringing consistent intentional support to these areas of the body, the nervous system is able to gradually soften, allowing both body and mind to experience a more restful and regulated state. This will feel a bit like a guided meditation. You’re welcome to be as comfortable as possible, seated in a chair or lying down on a sofa or the floor.

We’ll conclude with a few moments of silence to let this experience settle and integrate in a way that supports your body, nervous system, and healing process. Then at the beginning of the following session, you will be invited to share any personal discoveries, insights, or experiences that you noticed during our time together and in between sessions. You may always share as much or as little as you’d like during this time.

Final Session

We will conclude with a Group Integration, where you’ll be invited to share as much or as little about your journey as you’d like. This is also a time for questions and discussion about relevant topics.

As our Circle closes, you’re welcome to schedule more individual sessions with me or join another Somatic Circle group.

Hi there. I’m Annie.

I’m a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and certified Transforming Touch® Practitioner specializing in developmental trauma and attachment.

And I’m a complete nervous system nerd–passionate about helping folks gain more capacity and regulation so they can navigate life with more ease.
